For the final project, each student will develop a three-dimensional interactive object that uses the MoCap system in LEEDs to engage with a Processing sketch in real time and create a live “drawing.” The eight objects will be arranged in the space according to size, with a rectangular parcel for each object designated by tape placed on the ground, similar to the two sketches. Objects may be picked up, rolled, tumbled, slid, or swung through the space. These parcels will serve as the designated “resting” spaces for each object, while the area in front of the main projector will remain open for the performance of drawing with a selected object.
